Oversee daily sales operations, performance and inventory management across 3PLS including two (2) US-based facilities and one (1) EU-based facility
Manage and provide day to day operational customer support across 3 channels of business:
Wholesale, Retail and E-commerce
Manage and troubleshoot daily warehouse communication regarding order fulfillment, outbound shipments and compliance with merchandise labeling, packing and routing guidelines for both EDI and non-EDI- trading partner
Assist with inventory management by providing detailed reports on current inventory across channels and warehouses
Develop, implement, and present KPI metrics
ensure partners are meeting expected SLA's
Maintain close relationship with Planning and Sales
Manage communication, coordination and logistics with worldwide vendors, commitment partners, freight agents and global warehouses regarding production status, allocation, schedules and problem resolutions
Manage all logistics with freight agents for all outbound shipments
Drive transportation planning for special events, new store openings, and high value shipments to ensure seamless execution.
Oversee implementation of operational procedures and vendor guidelines for effective product development and delivery to distribution centers in compliance with company standards and third-party vendors
Manage multiple carrier shipping accounts, contracts negotiation with regards to rates and services and providing back end support
Maintain shared live product status scheduling master tool which provides ETA based on average transit time to each destination
Update and create product information, prices in several platforms in various currencies along with product specification (Agiliron, Coresource, Intertrade, GXS)

Bachelors Degree
5+ years related experience, retail /wholesale environment preferred
Resourceful, flexible, and cooperative attitude; service-oriented with strong competency to work with internal and external partners
Solution-oriented from an individual and global perspective
Familiar with inventory control methods, small parcel rating
Strong analytical background able to consume, analyze, and report large volumes of data quickly and accurately
Highly proficient in MS Office product suite (especially Excel)
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience with EDI is a plus

With more than 6,500 staff in over 45 countries, our programs reached 14.9 million people in 2015.</p> <p><br></p> <p><strong>About the Program</strong></p> <p>Action Against Hunger has been operational in Nigeria since 2010 responding to both chronic and acute needs through a multi-sector strategy where nutrition, Food Security and Livelihoods and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene activities are integrated to have a meaningful impact on people’s resilience. The main objectives of the country program are:</p> <p>1. To continue building on Action Against Hunger’s reputation for nutritional expertise to deliver integrated nutrition, WASH and FSL assistance in the high caseload Northern Nigeria States and build evidence from out pilot projects to influence policy makers to find long lasting solutions to under nutrition and hunger,</p> <p>2. To respond to the dire humanitarian situation created by the devastating conflict on-going in the North East while applying, where possible, attempts to find durable solutions in line with the New ways of Working and Humanitarian Development Nexus.</p> <p>With a central office in Abuja and 3 main field office across the North, Action Against Hunger runs intervention in 3 States of Northern Nigeria including two States affected by the on-going conflict. We have a country team of around 550 staff (45 international) and a budget for 2018 projected at 50 M US$. Our main donors and partners in Nigeria include USAID/OFDA &amp; FFP, DFID, ECHO, EU EDF, AFD, UNICEF, SIDA, SDC and GAC.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE TO ENDING WORLD HUNGER BY . . .</strong></p> <p>ensuring that efficient and appropriate logistic support is provided for all Rapid Response Mechanism program activities. Ensure that all Action Against Hunger and donor logistics procedures are followed and that all logistical measures are taken to ensure the timely implementation of rapid evaluations and short-term emergency responses, in close coordination with the other members of the Regional humanitarian team..</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><h3>KEY ACTIVITIES IN YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:</h3><p>1. Responsible for ensuring that efficient and appropriate logistical support is provided for all RRM program activities, consistent with Action Against Hunger protocols and procedures, to ensure program objectives are achieved in collaboration with the Emergency Team.</p><ul> <li>Provide logistical guidance, advice, and support to all field sites and the logistical staff in those locations as necessary or as required </li> <li>Ensure that Action Against Hunger’s policies, systems and guidelines are implemented, used and adhered to </li> <li>Ensure that a constructive and effective logistical working relationship between field office and RRM team is developed and maintained </li> <li>Provide technical support to the project, in coordination with Maiduguri logistics team, in relation to: procurement, transport, asset management, warehousing / stock control, and the distribution of goods</li> <li>Monitor and oversee all location where Action Against Hunger implements RRM activities to ensure that systems are being correctly implemented and comply with Action Against Hunger and donor standards </li> </ul><p>2. Responsible for oversight of all logistical activities for AAH Emergency programming.</p><ul> <li>Organization and supervision of the emergency logistics team. This include streamlining ne all information related to logistics (procurement, warehousing, transport…)</li> <li>Act as logistical Focal Person for Emergency and Ensure logistical systems and procedures are maintained and up to date in a timely fashion.</li> <li>Coordinating with Maiduguri and Abuja logistics teams to ensure the best logistics support to the emergency program including local procurement, vehicle and asset / equipment maintenance and management </li> <li>Responsible for supply chain and stock control for emergency programming consistent with Action Against Hunger protocols and procedures </li> <li>Coordinate with the Borno Warehouse Manager on implementation of Action Against Hunger standard warehouse procedures in order to reach the overall goal of 100% transparency and accountability. </li> <li>Plan and organize the movements of the emergency team and cargo</li> <li>Ensure that the logistical resources allocated to emergency team are managed as per Kit log and mission guidelines. </li> <li>Support the opening and closure of emergency deployments. This includes mounting and dismounting of relevant structures</li> </ul><p>3. Supply chain management for Emergency program activities.</p><ul> <li>Initiate and follow supply chain operations starting from supply planning to delivery according to Action Against Hunger standard procurement practices, keeping records to full audit trail standard under donor regulations as well as Action Against Hunger Internal Procurement Procedures</li> <li>Ensure all necessary authorizations / approvals are obtained on time to allow the purchase of appropriate supplies for RRM projects and ensure delivery in a timely and cost effective manner</li> <li>Liaise and co-ordinate with the relevant departments regarding delivery of supplies and keep all parties informed of any changes in a timely manner </li> <li>Maintain a good quality control system such that all goods and services delivered to the emergency program comply with Action Against Hunger’s standards</li> <li>Coordinate with Maiduguri Logistics team on the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date supplier information and market prices databases for regularly purchased items.</li> </ul><p>4. Stock and Asset management <br></p><ul> <li>Identify the emergency program needs in term of assets and equipment and make sure they are covered.</li> <li>Liaise with ICT officer Maiduguri to ensure appropriate coding, tagging repairs and maintenance of assets and equipment and the maintenance of an up to date and proper asset inventory for emergency programming </li> <li>Initiate inbound and outbound movements in coordination with Borno warehouse manager. This includes preparation of relevant documentations in line with Kitlog and the mission guidelines (SROs, Distribution plans,…) </li> <li>Coordinate with the Borno Warehouse Manager to ensure proper storage and warehousing of emergency program stocks, including proper receiving and issuing of stocks, maintenance of updated bin cards, and regular physical stock taking and spot checks for assets and office equipment</li> <li>Ensure that the proper administrative procedures and standards for order follow-up, ordering, stock keeping and dispatch are followed </li> <li>To keep a proper record of expenditures, receipts, requisitions, purchase order forms, waybills, and all other documents </li> <li>Ensure stock administrative system is in place and regular reconciliation is done. </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>DOES THIS DESCRIPTION FIT YOU?</strong><br></p><ul> <li>You have a Bachelor degree in related field.
