Position Overview

Ralph Lauren Corporation seeks an experienced technical business professional to lead and deliver process improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency within Order to Cash and Digital Commerce functions.

This business functional role reports direct to the Sr. Manager - Customer EDI & SAP Support. It is part of the Ralph Lauren Integrated Services team which is responsible for managing post-market through delivery functions for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of brands.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and innovative technical business professional with a high degree of analytical proficiency. This position requires good foundational knowledge and hands-on experience working with Order to Cash processes within SAP AFS along with a good understanding of SAP iDocs, and a firm understanding of Wholesale Consumer Goods and Retail concepts. Candidates with a proven history of proactively driving continuous improvement initiatives and exceeding service level agreements are preferred.

The Operations Analyst, SAP - actively leads change management and process improvement activities from business requirements definition through acceptance testing, deployment, customization, configuration, training, and provides day to day operational support as required within Integrated Services with a mindset of continuous improvement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains a deep end to end understanding of Ralph Lauren Order to Cash business and system processes and provides support for or leads process improvement initiatives.

  • Leads and/or supports discussions with business partners to analyze existing processes and/or define new processes that deliver increased operational efficiency and value to the organization.

  • Translates opportunities into detailed business requirements with traceability through the change management lifecycle.

  • Defines and leads user acceptance test efforts within the change management lifecycle.

  • Oversees custom tables and custom configuration in the SAP OTC space related to customer and/or process configuration tables.

  • Oversees inbound/outbound interface functionality within the SAP OTC space. This can include batch process scheduling knowledge as well as ad-hoc sending/receiving activities.

  • Provides day to day operational SAP support for Wholesale Services Account Management teams to ensure timely resolution for problem requests - with escalation procedure oversight.

  • Provides recommendations and implements procedures that are appropriate to ensure the support issues do not reoccur and/or are manageable.

  • Provides support, expertise, and setup for partner platforms including but not limited to B2B Commerce, EDI development initiatives, and Customer Document Delivery Portals.

  • Primary responsible for customer configuration in SAP to include standard customer information, payment terms, sales order allocation rules, and pricing.

  • Maintains timely and clear communication from problem identification through resolution to appropriate areas within the organization.

  • Establishes and maintains strong business partnerships across functional areas to promote collaboration, teamwork, and organizational alignment to include sharing of knowledge and best practices.

  • Develops and maintains a deep understanding of corporate audit controls for OTC and may serve as OTC primary responsible for executing internal/external Audit requests.

  • Executes data validation cleansing processes on a quarterly basis to ensure accuracy of data in key areas including but not limited to Customer information, sales order information and custom table archiving.

  • Maintains Allocation Selection set tables for monthly allocation date windows.

  • Primary responsible for the management and support for UPC product identification to include UPC block budget forecast, utilization monitoring, purchase, and customer support for syndication to third party portals.

  • Responsible for operational intelligence analytics in areas of responsibility with various platforms such as MicroStrategy or OpsVeda.

  • Maintains a continuous improvement mindset striving for automation and efficiency.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Wholesale, Retail, Distribution, Manufacturing, Customer Master, Allocation, Integration and Finance concepts and business processes.

  • 2-4 years of Advance Knowledge of and demonstrated hands-on SAP-AFS experience in a Business Support or Technical Analyst role Required

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst defining business case, business requirements and testing requirements.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.

  • Working knowledge of PKMS WMS is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of EDI standards and integration methods.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and surpass qualitative goals and objectives.

  • Ability to work within a diverse team environment with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines for key corporate initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence and demonstrate confidence in communication with senior level management.
