This position may be seated in any of the MCHS sites that have current Credit Balance Resolution staff, and the space available. NWWI in Eau Claire in the SSB, SWWI in La Crosse in the Professional Arts Building, SEMN in Austin in the Support Building, and SWMN in Mankato in the Business Services Building.
Participates and supports groups analyzing, redesigning, and implementing process improvements and new programs in the Enterprise Revenue Cycle. Possesses in depth knowledge of healthcare environment.
Serves as a resource to the Enterprise Revenue Cycle, clinical operations and the institution for revenue cycle topics and issues. Initiates solutions and identifies resource impact to ensure operational effectiveness by working with Operations and SS in redesigning systems and workflows through understanding of Enterprise Revenue Cycle operations, processes, systems, regulations, clinical practice, payer changes and data. Assists in gathering and analyzing data for decision-making and process improvement within the revenue cycle and clinical operations.
Participates and/or leads internal reviews, training, projects and multi-disciplinary workgroups related to internal quality reviews, training, compliance initiatives, reporting initiatives, benchmarking, research and analysis, continuous improvement opportunities, and other customer requested projects. Actively communicates pertinent information to various audiences. Troubleshoots operational and systems issues and oversees resolutions.
Leads and coordinates effective meetings which include participants throughout Mayo Clinic. Assists with ensuring compliance of federal and state requirements. Documents changed processes and ensures changes are incorporated into training and internal control materials for Enterprise Revenue Cycle staff and other users.
Understands and is accountable for ensuring a control environment is maintained to preserve Mayo's Standard of Ethics and minimize the financial and legal risks for Mayo. Maintains knowledge of current healthcare environment. May work evening and weekend hours and travel as needed.
Bachelors with minimum 5 years of relevant exp. Relevant experience is considered in Finance Revenue Cycle, or Healthcare.
Preferred knowledge and experience in Project Management. Extensive knowledge of physician and hospital billing systems for Governmental, managed care and commercial payers.
Customer-service oriented, timely in responses to requests for service/information, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, have the ability to work independently and possess leadership skills. Prefer knowledge of the revenue cycle systems.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $22.09 per hour.

Monday- Friday 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
