We are seeking an Operations Analyst for Bluestem Brands to be located at our office in Eden Prairie, MN. . The Operations Analyst is responsible for onboarding new customer communications across the Credit Operations area, this includes coordinating with external vendors as well as business partners within Bluestem Brands. This position is responsible for invoicing relevant communications, managing supply inventory and will conduct variance analysis of expected volumes. This position will also track hours and productivity of various Credit Operations departments.

What you'll do:

  • Track cardholder account statements and collections communications, this includes volumes, monthly accruals, statement insert schedules, and status of statement jobs 20%
  • Monitor processing of collections related communications, this includes validating account records are processed and invoiced accurately by external vendor 15%
  • Assist with month-end variance analysis for account statements and collections communications 15%
  • Coordinate set up of new communication templates as well as revisions of existing templates with external vendors, this includes testing, implementation and version control 10%
  • Assist with quarterly annual plan updates and forecasting for statements 10%
  • Manage supply inventory for collections communications, this includes forecasting future needs while minimizing obsolete materials 5%
  • Work with various internal business partners across various departments to develop new letter templates, revise existing templates, and create new revenue generating statements 5%
  • Upload and track communication versions from proposal to final approval within Bluestem's internal Compliance tracking software 5%
  • Manage the active version of all collections communications within Bluestem's internal Compliance tracking software 5%
  • Track hours and productivity for the following departments: Mail Order Processing, Collections Support and Payment Processing 5%
  • Other job duties and projects as assigned

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree required

  • Minimum 1 year experience working in an Analyst role required

  • Experience using data analysis software, such as Excel, Access, SAS, and SQL preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision both independently and in a team environment
