Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our nine major business lines include Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Wells Fargo Securities, and the Investment Portfolio. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

Wells Fargo Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) (part of Wells Fargo's Commercial Capital business) provides inventory financing solutions, service and intelligence through in-depth industry expertise and a commitment to customers. As a leading provider in specialized financing and servicing solutions, CDF delivers when it comes to helping facilitate the manufacturing, distribution and sale of products across a variety of industries from Powersports, Marine and Recreational Vehicles, to Outdoor Lawn & Garden, Agriculture, Technology, and Electronics & Appliances.

In this role you will participate in the analysis of information and processes.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Assist with the ongoing accuracy and relevance of data and processes.

  • Assist in process improvement for department initiatives.

  • Assist in reporting to stakeholders.

  • Assist with the analysis necessary for the functional operations reviews

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of operations experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience researching and compiling operational data

  • Basic reporting skills

  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a financial services, operations or customer service setting.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in project management

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Excellent organizational, follow-up, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks.

  • Strong Time Management Skills.

  • Commitment to service excellent and process improvement.
