We are currently seeking an Operations Administrator to join our growing team!
The primary responsibility is to provide operations and administrative support to the Moose Creek Thermal Treatment and Fairbanks facilities to ensure that each location maintains compliance with established NRC policies and procedures. Although most of the work performed will be based out of the Moose Creek facility, there will be periods where work will be performed from the Fairbanks facility. Overtime, working weekends and holidays may be necessary based on workload or customer needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Input project setup and interact directly with Project Managers and other designated managers to ensure that all data is accurately entered into the system.
Serve as expeditor, assisting Project Managers with bids/proposals, maintaining project files, preparing shipping documents, and various project support tasks.
Responsible for maintaining information generated from site remediation or emergency response projects. This shall require interfacing with a staff of project managers, accounting staff, site superintendents, foremen, equipment operators, health and safety staff, field technicians and subcontractors; ensuring profitability and health and safety compliance of projects.
Provide a resource for field operations that are unable to access office support and programs.
Assist with new hire recruiting and onboarding process.
Support with month end inventory reporting and submit by deadline.
Assist with procurement of materials and supplies to include the coordination, transport or pick up between facilities or from vendors using company vehicles.
Perform a variety of administrative-related activities as assigned, including reconciling and processing statements, tracking and entering time sheets, submitting expense reports, making travel arrangements, organizing meetings or training events, updating internal tracking spreadsheets (PO Log, weight summary reports, etc.).
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
1-2 years' experience as a support person for environmental, facility, and personnel support in construction services, logistical support services, or similar industry is preferred.
Must be proficient in the latest version of MS Office and quickly learn other software programs. Advanced skills in Excel is preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and experience driving in all weather conditions.
Communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise and professional manner, using proper grammar and spelling.
Able to apply critical and creative thinking skills to overcome obstacles and solve problems.
Effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while being organized and detail oriented.
Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
Must have a consistent and reliable work ethic, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search as well continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards.
