Jacobs provides Operational Technology services domestically and globally for internal and external clients across multiple critical infrastructure sectors. Our OT SMEs focus on operational technology, cybersecurity and industrial controls - this is NOT an IT position. Successful candidate will assist multiple projects in the support and maintenance of technology solutions in the areas of Operational Technology (OT) including networking, servers, virtualization, and security technologies leveraging thorough Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, networking, and cybersecurity concepts. .Are you ready to build a career as an OT technologist at the cutting edge of SCADA and cybersecurity?

In this role, you will function as a multi-disciplinary OT SME with specific aptitudes networking, control systems, and security.

You will work with client teams to design, build and secure highly complex SCADA architectures, networks, and cybersecurity software and hardware to bring total solutions to clients OT environments. • Develop communication block diagrams, panel layout/bill of material drawings, SCADA AC & DC schematics, fiber detail drawings, & network drawings. • Perform troubleshooting of SCADA system network & communication systems - knowledge of ICs protocols is a must • Stage, configure & test integrated systems designs, for interoperability & performance consistent with performance and specification standards in Jacobs OT laboratories.• Familiarity with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system • Create and maintain detailed network diagrams of the manufacturing industrial infrastructure, network, server, cabling, rack level, and logical architecture including procedures and plans to support current and future projects.• Procure equipment per project requirements• Conduct security reviews and assessments of operational technology, OT security and cybersecurity risk landscapes, understand how to monitor and/or control devices, processes and events • Travel to project sites to provide support of ICS networks, manage and maintain converged platforms, virtualization, networks, security platforms and various other OT/IoT technologies • Systems thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking)• Work closely with other technical teams (including I&C engineers and other specialists) to ensure adequate OT and cybersecurity solutions are in place throughout all systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently• Support projects to achieve client expectations for quality, schedule and budget; participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance• Help us implement and maintain Jacobs OT cyber standards both internally and externally• Travel to project sites to provide support of ICS networks, manage and maintain converged platforms, virtualization, networks, security platforms and various other OT/IoT technologies• Develop acceptance testing procedures and user manuals as needed Here's What You'll Need: 10 to 15 years of demonstratable experience in the estimating/scoping, design, integration and commissioning of various PLC and HMI solutions across several vendors including (but not limited to); Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Scheider Electric, Aveva (Wonderware), VTSCADA and Ignition. 3 years of experience in design, configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting of substation SCADA and communication systems. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or another technical field is required (Masters degree or work experience can be used in lieu of a degree). 5 years of OT experience with Microsoft Windows Server design and administration, virtualization and converged platform technology design, implementation, and troubleshooting.

Expert knowledge and understanding of three main disciplines we follow: ICS Systems (Automation/SCADA) Networking (as it applies to ICS) Cybersecurity (OT) Minimum 3 years OT network experience with LAN and WAN design, implementation and troubleshooting for switches, routers, firewalls, and various other network equipment. Willingness to travel including overseas assignments as the need arises.

Knowledge of and experience in security processes and organizational design. Excellent planning and organizational skills with an ability to understand the long-term ("big picture"). Experience with network analysis and penetration testing tools as BackTrack, Metasploit, Rapid 7 Nexpose, NMAP, and/or Wireshark. Strong interest in the field of cybersecurity in industrial control systems and internet of things.

Consulting experience Ability to manage, assign tasks and contribute to multiple projects across different client base industries. Certifications Required (one of these is required for role): Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - must be active and must have the ability to supply Cisco Certificate to Human Resources in order to validate with Cisco as genuine. Preferred: CCDA, Fortinet NSE-4, JNCIA or equivalent network certification Experience with IIoT and edge computing Jacobs' health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you and in the things you care about.

Employees will also receive 17 days of vacation per year, seven paid holidays, plus floating holidays and caregiver leave. Hired applicants will be able to purchase company stock and have the opportunity to receive a performance discretionary bonus. The base salary range for this position is $90 to $185K based on experience and skill level.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
