The Third Party Information Security Risk Assessment team currently has a great opportunity for an individual with experience Third Party risk management. This role will work to refine the Third Party Information Security program, strategy and domain materials and will serve as a point of contact across the organization for consistency of third party oversight activities.

This position manages the Third Party Risk Assessment Services & Site Review Team. This team supports Wells Fargo's Information Security and Third Party Risk Management programs by providing information security risk assessment services that identify, evaluate, and document information security risks associated with the use of third party service providers that provide products and services to or on behalf of Wells Fargo.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Active participation in audit and regulatory issue remediation

  • Creation and maintenance of program document(s) and strategy material

  • Engage and coordinate with other teams with Information Security (EIS) to ensure Third Party Domain activities are completed within required Service Level Agreements (SLA)

The successful candidate will be responsible for three distinct functions: Coordination & Preparation that requires the incumbent to partner with Third Party Program to identify those Third Parties that meet specific criteria for Information Security Assessments. For third parties that meet criteria, this position oversees the partnership with senior executives from both Wells Fargo LOBs and our Third Parties to communicate and schedule onsite and/or remote information security assessments. The scheduling of the assessments requires knowledge of both the function that the third party performs for Wells Fargo and the assessor's technical skill sets to ensure assessors with highly technical capabilities are partnered with those Third Parties that deliver technology capabilities versus those Third Parties that deliver lower level technology processes and/or services. This role manages the technology oversight for the Site Review Tool (SRT) which is the application which is leveraged to capture and store assessment results for all assessment types. Management of this tool will require the candidate to be familiar with Wells Fargo Information Security policies and have working knowledge of new technologies (specifically Cloud) to ensure assessment content remains relevant.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 8+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 4+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
  • 3+ years of management experience

The manager will be responsible for setting the strategy and direction for identifying and reducing risk from phishing and cybercrime to the company. The manager will work to integrate the developed information into the company's existing fraud and cyber security processes. This position reports to the Threat Detection Services Manager. Key Job Responsibilities will include: * Daily operational management for the ICS cybercrime and phishing disruption team. * This position will monitor the overall cyber financial crimes environment as threats emerge, evolve and gaps are identified. * Develop partnerships with Wells Fargo's existing fraud and security teams across the lines of business. * Responsible for developing strategic cybercrimes and threat analysis reporting to inform product, service, and channels and will lead the development of detection strategies to mitigate exposure to complex cybercrime threats. * Provide subject matter expertise on actual or perceived events as well as reviewing emerging technologies and tools for IS and other lines of business. * Lead efforts to modify and or enhance the ICS operation system to have functionality to execute on design specifications/consults and plans with business partners to assess cybercrimes and security risk around new projects.
