Operational Risk Consultant 5 Operational Loss Events, External Loss Events, Scenario Analysis
The Finance Control Executive team within Enterprise Finance and Information Technology provides risk and control support to the Finance businesses for all front line risk activities. Finance includes Business Finance, Controllers, Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Treasury, Enterprise Finance, Customer Remediation, Business Process Management, Data Management and Insights and Enterprise Shared Services.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Operational Risk Consultant to join the Finance Control Executive team and play a role leading the implementation of policies related to Operational Risk Events, External Loss Events and Scenario Analysis. This position is critical to help Finance meet the deliverables of loss data and scenario analysis policies in partnership with relevant stakeholders. This leader will collaborate with the Enterprise teams driving the loss data programs and Basel programs to support the responsibilities of Finance business. The primary responsibilities will include:
Single Point of Contact for interaction with Enterprise loss data teams and the Scenario analysis team
Act as the operational risk event reviewer for Finance functions
Collaborate with a community of matrixed loss event coordinators, providing training and consultation
Assisting with tracking and reporting of progress with reporting tools to ensure deliverable timelines are met and consistent reporting is produced
Taking appropriate action in the Operational Risk Event database based on external events, if required
Review the enrichment to loss data by operational risk even coordinators and address data quality issues
Complete program analysis against Policy requirements, identify deficiencies, recommend and implement solutions, processes and procedures
Promote a strong risk culture, cultivate relationships and foster a team orientation with Finance business partners, Finance Control Executive team, independent risk management, and internal audit
Ability to interact with all levels of management
