As an ORTS Course Facilitator you will:
Work within the Maritime Lifecycle Readiness team and provide training expertise.

Develop, organize and conduct training for Fleet sailors in support of Training and Readiness Center.
Conduct traditional classroom instruction and support tactical lab training.
A week in the life of an ORTS Course Facilitator:
Support curriculum development of the AEGIS MK-99 AEGIS Fire Control System/MK84 400Hz Power Distribution System/Ballistic Missile Defense Technician.
Provide training & assessment of U.S. Navy Aegis Combat Systems Capabilities and Limitations to the officer level.
Review and analyze U.S. Navy Aegis Combat System Engineering Capabilities and Limitations and U.S. Navy Operational and Tactical doctrine.
Integrate the execution of Doctrine optimizing Combat Systems capabilities and limitation in an operational tactical environment.
Conduct assessment of sailors' abilities to comply with approved maintenance and operational procedures.
Provide appraisal of performance with recommendations for improvement and methods to maintain technical and tactical proficiency.
Prepare, review, and customize curriculum lesson plans and instructor guide.
Develop, test, maintain and deliver moderately complex Aegis training programs.
Establish and review course content and objectives.
Conduct training sessions and develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
Maintain records of training activities.
Job Requirements
At least six (6) years of experience in:

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
