Operational Material Management
In this role, you have the opportunity to

You are responsible for
Drives Customer Demand Fulfilment by ensuring material availability in the supply chain
Maintains master data settings to enable touchless replenishment, in an industrial environment
Tactical material and capacity planning (forecast and handshake feedback) with internal and external suppliers and DCs, in an optimized way through the use of planning calculation methods
Mitigation in case of supply risks and issues, including ownership of escalation management
Operational planning and Purchase Order management
Continuous improvement of material supply ensuring Philips Global Processes execution (supplier performance)
ECO implementation follow up with the supplier
SCR follow up with the relevant groups within Philips
Inventory Material Policy definition
Disqualified material return to supplier management
Drive standardization and improvement of processes (e.g. Master data accuracy and auto PO creation)
Single point of contact for supplier
Cost of Non Quality: Excess & Obsolete
Customer Service Level: OTTR / OTTP / COTS (depending on delivery model)
Supplier delivery performance (VMI & CLIP)
Integral Warehousing & Distribution costs as % of revenue upstream & mainstream
Inventory (as % of MAT sales) business controllable
Procurement order tracking
Blocked invoice reduction
Master data accuracy
Teamwork and collaboration
Problem solving and decision making
Materials management fundamentals
SAP MM knowledge
Supply chain fundamentals
Experience with Procure-to-pay process
Operational Buyer / Planner 70
As 60 plus:
Global inventory analysis and
Mitigate and escalate
Project manage global shortage issues: Mitigation initiatives, demand consolidation and SCM representation in case of global shortage issues
Develop and deploy harmonization of processes and OMM organization
Manage improvement projects
Project lead OMM projects
Excellent communication skills for assessments, project deployments to sites and meetings with global suppliers
Drive continuous improvement in OMM
As 60 plus:
High complexity / High impact position, e.g. in terms of size and value of portfolio, demand/supply unbalance, volatility of supply base, tier in the supply chain to be overlooked, supply chain risks involved, intensity of phase in/out, etc.
As 60 plus:
Procurement spend > 30 M
Span of Supplier control per FTE > 20 Suppliers (Tier 1)
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Minimum 5 years' related experience
Proven track record in tactical / operational material management and/or commodity management
Minimal technical knowledge for maintenance parts purchases
Procurement Governance experience
Cross-functional experience in related functions
Global Project Management experience
