Operational Excellence Lean Engineer

We have an immediate opening for an Operational Excellence Lean Engineer based at our world headquarters in Franklin Park, Illinois. In this role you will provide leadership in the application of Lean Principles and Methods with a cross-functional team to drive improvement activities. This includes leading kaizen events that are aligned with Sloan's strategy deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Kaizen Events with a cross functional team

• Implement a plan for every part

• Implement Single Piece Flow Cells

• Implement 5S Program

• Develop others on Lean principles and tools for implementing creative solutions for system and process improvements.

• Implement Tugger / Water Spider Routes

• Develop Flow Plan for Assembly Department

• Drive labor & variable cost productivity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

• 3 Years Lean Engineering experience in a warehouse logistics environment. Manufacturing experience preferred.

• Solid knowledge of Excel or equivalent spreadsheet tools

• Intermediate to advance experience in Excel

• Experience working cross-functionally, communicating effectively and persuasively to teach and motivate others

• Experience with Autocad or Visio
