SUMMARY: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facility by providing administrative and operational support to various departments. Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks, coordinating operational activities, and facilitating communication between departments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*:

  • Setting up New Customers and completing new supplier forms and saving them on the server.

  • Releasing Orders from Credit hold

  • Point person for mailing, shipping, supplies, and bills.

  • Support relationships with vendors, and service providers, ensuring that all items are invoiced and packing slips are provided to accounting on time.

  • Provide general support to visitors.

  • Issuing POs for Non-Raw Material Purchases

  • Assuring daily cycle counts are launched, reviewing cycle count variances, and determining what recounts need to be done before variances are approved.

  • Responsible for working with the Production Manager to prepare for physical inventory, including securing all supplies needed, making sure the plant is organized, and running processes in the ERP system.

  • Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed, supply requisitions are reviewed and approved, and clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored.

  • Responsible for developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office.

  • Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.

  • Analyze and monitor internal processes.

  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory.

  • Responsible for supporting or leading inventory-related responsibilities including ongoing cycle counting, planning, and execution of physical year-end inventory.

  • Serves as a backup to the Shipping and Receiving Clerk.

  • Uploading Documents to Online Archive System

  • Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate communication and resolve operational issues.

  • Serves as Redmond facility liaison with corporate Human Resources, including assisting in onboarding new hires, employee engagement, employee recruitment, and adherence to company policies.

  • Maintain safety programs and facility security, including implementing new policing and procedures and ensuring they are followed and conducted safely and efficiently.

  • Manages the access control and alarm system for the Redmond location.

  • Support Quality Management Systems and ISO Certification

  • Approve monthly office and facility expenses.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED with at least two years of relatable experience.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles is desirable.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

SATO contributes approximately 75% to the cost of employees' health insurance coverage along with 100% company paid Life & AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and a pre-tax Health Savings Account with an employer contribution of $500.00 or $1,000.00 depending on elected medical coverage.

Time Away: We observe 10 company paid holidays per year and up to ten (10) days accrued vacation time in the first year. Eleven (11) days at year two (2). Twelve (12) days at year three (3). Thirteen (13) days at year four (4) and fifteen (15) days at year five (5). We also offer six (6) accrued personal days for you to use for things like weddings, moving, mental health, religious holiday, sick child or for anything that is truly personal.

Saving for the Future: plan for your short term and long-term goals with our 401(k)-retirement savings plan with employer match with no vesting schedule. You are fully vested on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. SATO will match 100%/dollar-for-dollar of your 401(k)-deferral amount of the first 3% of your pay and an additional match of 50%/$.50 on the next 2% of your pay. For example, if you defer 5% of your pay into the 401(k) Plan, SATO will make a 4% matching contribution.
