Position: Operation Specialist

Physical Location: 122 Rogers Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901

Reports To: Director of Operations at Equipment Finance

Working Conditions: Normal, no adverse or hazardous conditions

Job Grade: 18

Job Group Category: Non Exempt

Primary Purpose:

This position is responsible for providing support and servicing of leases and loans in the Equipment Finance portfolio and will be responsible for assisting officers and customers with customer support needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process Accounts Receivable daily payment posting

  • Prepare and complete title and UCC releases

  • Process Invoicing

  • Process ACH and Incoming Wire Transactions

  • Process Payoff Requests

  • Follow up and maintenance of insurance on active contracts

  • Provide support and/or backup for other workflows and duties as they may arise

Job Specifications:

  • Two (2) years experience in banking preferred

  • Detail oriented and able to follow set guidelines

  • Good organizational skills

  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service skills

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment

  • Basic computer and keyboard skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Provides first line supervision to a team of developmental and certified professional controllers. Supervises a staff of air traffic control specialist who are responsible for carrying out air traffic control assignments within a geographic area. Plans and assigns work to be accomplished by subordinate employees. Sets work priorities and schedules. Approves leave; gives advice, counsel, and instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters. Evaluates performance of employees and recommends performance ratings. Hears and resolves complaints from employees and refers group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher level manager. Identifies and arranges for developmental and other training needs of employees. Finds ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed. Adjusts staffing levels and work procedures to accommodate resource decisions made at higher levels. Recommends goals and objectives for the area and tracks accomplishments. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters positions for at least 1 year (52 weeks); or 2) Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) at an ATS facility; (Note: an employee who has been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility that is upgraded is considered to meet the qualification requirements of the upgraded position, since he or she has been performing the higher-graded work; or 3) Must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility.
