OPL Manager II Operations

Position Summary

Ensures cost, schedule, and quality targets for manufacturing sites, product lines, or work cells are consistently met

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capable of resolving complex issues/problems utilizing comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes

  • Manages the development, and monitors execution, of manufacturing schedules

  • Develops budgets and manages activities to accomplish financial objectives

  • Develops and recommends short- and long-range objectives, consistent with organization guidelines

  • Coordinates operations and communications within, between, and among various functional areas

  • Ensures operations conform to the organization's policies and procedures, values, and federal, state, and local regulations

  • Establishes, monitors, and ensures customer satisfaction

  • Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and controlling

  • Coordinates team member recruitment and selection, career development, and performance assessment

  • Drives continuous improvement through deployment of best practices, such as Lean Six Sigma

  • Continually identifies and assesses risks and deploys proactive mitigation plans

  • May participate in the preparation and/or review of proposals for new business based upon RFP/RFQ requirements

  • May coordinate operations and communications within, between, and among various functional areas

  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Secondary Accountabilities

  • Attend applicable internal or external customer meetings

  • Participate on special project teams

  • Support and lead new product introduction activities

  • Maintain knowledge of current manufacturing and continuous improvement trends in the industry

Basic Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Engineering, Management or related field, or equivalent

  • Proficient technical expertise with demonstrated application

  • Knowledge and familiarity with standards (ISO, AS, etc)

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, communication and writing skills

Under general supervision, the Lead Respiratory Therapist will perform all respiratory care related duties. Set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages. Responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation. Respiratory Therapists are expected to be self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team Leader. Maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given. Completion of an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred Minimum 3 years Respiratory Therapist Experience; critical care and intubation experience preferred Current Florida license as (RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist or (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required. New hires/transfers must obtain within 6 months of hire. Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required. New hires/transfers must obtain within 6 months of hire.
