Deliv is looking for an experienced Operations Manager with 5+ years experience leading teams in operations, logistics, customer service or retail. You have the magical ability to make impossible things happen, every day. You know how to improve a process or a procedure, anywhere and everywhere there might be one. And if it's missing, you'll implement it. It is a fast-paced work environment. No two days are the same. Priorities change daily. As the Operations Manager, a typical day might include

  • Responsible for the performance of your team of Operations Success Representatives (OSR) and assigned districts/regions

  • Hire, train and manage OSR team in tandem with other managers

  • Point of contact for escalated retailer, consumer and driver issues/complaints

  • Lead regularly scheduled team meetings to constantly improve service, communication, and operational performance

  • Leverage analytical tools to monitor performance trends and take swift action to course correct

  • Monitor degradation in service or communication and take advantage of immediate coaching opportunities

  • Collaborate with business, technical and operations colleagues to improve the performance of your team

  • Represent the operations team in meetings with retailers as needed

  • Effectively manage the quality of the Deliv experience at scale

  • Figuring out what systems and processes Deliv needs in order to be able to grow, and building them

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of management experience

  • Ability to work weekends

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Sharp focus on the customer experience

  • Data-driven but make decisions with 80% of the information

  • Take pride in developing team members and seeing them grow

  • Strategic and analytical thinker who has shown the ability to scale operations

  • Pro-actively develop plans to address new challenges and opportunities

  • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • BA/BS

Apply to join the LARGEST SECURITY COMPANY in the United States! The GSOC Lead will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. Act as a liaison between GSOC Manager and security operators. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range. Responsible for managing day to day security services at their location. Including oversight of policies and procedures implementation, and maintaining current and updated procedures and record keeping in support of the GSOC Manager. The Shift Lead must provide advance notice of all intended absences from the site, including of minimum of two weeks' notice prior to taking vacation. The GSOC Lead Operator is responsible for leading the daily operations of the GSOC in the absence and in support of the GSOC Shift Supervisor and/or GSOC FTE Shift Manager. The Lead Operator is responsible for using best practices to identify, analyze, and support all incidents that are either impactful or potentially impactful to business, the brand and or employees. This position is responsible for using best practices for communicating information surrounding those incidents to leadership as appropriate. The Lead Operator supports the GSOC operators as they prepare for, respond to, and recover from both crisis and non-crisis incidents in addition to monitor cameras and alarms, dispatch associated calls via telephone and radio, operate access control technology, and provide general assistance to both employees and guests. Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-do-day operations of assigned shift at the site. Supervisory Responsibilities * Communicate staffing needs on shift to Supervisor or Account Manager. * Ensure that officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills; also may include assisting manager in performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.) * Ensure that employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate district or region HR support employees and Account Manager. * Assist with the communication of policies, company announcements and job openings through a consistently updated READ file at the site. * Provide the basis of a great place to work by treating staff with respect. Facebook Responsibilities: Take on all GSOC Supervisor responsibilities while the Supervisor is on break, lunch, or in meetings. * Secondary liaison with client team for all incidents, investigations, executive protection, and other situations that impact Facebook. * Act as a liaison with clients/customers by addressing all client/customer concerns in a proactive manner. Must be customer service oriented while still addressing the security needs and protocols at your site. * Back-up Incident Leader for most business disruptions and crisis incidents * Proactively seek out and assess incident information, coordinate incident communication, and support site emergency response for the enterprise. During any incident, coordinate response as needed for the incident and ensure proper notification procedures are followed. Guide and provide communication support to the GSOC responding operators as needed. Know the appropriate notification protocols for incident management. Effectively communicate Facebook's Incident management leaders to convey messages as requested and approved by Facebook's emergency management processes. * The Shift Lead answers routine and emergency calls, monitors alarms and video equipment including fire alarms, door alarms, and duress alarms * The Shift Lead will dispatch security officers, ERT, facilities, police, fire and EMS personnel as the Shift Lead maintains various records of communications * The Shift Lead uses multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information and intelligence about events that are occurring both domestically and internationally that may impact * The Shift Lead communicates and disseminates information, using established communication vehicles, to key partners using best * Send incident notifications (Everbridge) for any incident, safety check, AMBER Alert, and unusual situation that impacts the Facebook enterprise * Activate Crisis Management Teams and Crisis Action Teams as needed for incident management * Create and activate QP for AMBER Alert system * Triage, escalate, and communicate all technical or systems issues that arise within the GSOC or client systems (C-Cure, AMBER Alert, Everbridge, Smart PTT, Cameras, etc.) * Develops and proposes changes to processes, protocols, or systems, based on the needs of the GSOC * Oversee all audit completion for NORAM and LATAM Facebook locations * Update global phone list for all NORAM and LATAM locations * Work on site-specific projects assigned by the client or GSOC Manager. The Shift Lead takes an active role in position related projects. The levels of responsibility will vary from consulting to owning projects based on the individual. * Fill in at the GSOC on other GSOC Stations in a non-leadership capacity as required by management. Enforcement of Contract Standards * Help Account Manager identify, meet and exceed the needs of the customer. * Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime. * Assist in the coordination and/or conduct site-specific OJT, client specific training and annual refresher training for security personnel. * Reconcile security logs against shift responsibilities and patrols; review incident reports prior to submitting to manager and coordinate preliminary investigations. * Assist Account Manager manage uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists. Administrative Management Ensure that all oncoming teams get the appropriate passdowns and situational awareness details from the off going shift * As required, utilize WinTeam for scheduling and billing, and to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective business management. * Enforce AlliedBarton policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos. * Escalate all facility related issues and follow up regularly to ensure remediation.
