Sentara is hiring an Operating Room (OR) Service/Anesthesia Associate at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, in Norfolk, Virginia.

Shift:

Full Time, Night Shift

Monday-Thursday 9p-7a

Qualifications:

• HSD/GED REQUIRED

• Operating room setting experience who understands sterility within the surgical setting strongly preferred

• Hospital supply inventory experience strongly preferred

• Hospital patient experience (care partners, transporters) strongly preferred

• Experience in a hospital environment and interacting with patients preferred

• Hospital ESD experience preferred

Job Summary

Assists the OR/Anesthesia personnel with cleaning of equipment, room turnover, transportation of patients and all maintenance of supplies. Focuses on maintenance of a well-equipped and sanitary environment and a safe and seamless experience for surgical patients.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification

• American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
