Operating Room Nurse - Ambulatory Orthopedics

The collaboration includes dedicated orthopedics spaces, including: three inpatient operating rooms with related pre-operative and recovery space and 19 inpatient beds in the new Stamford Health hospital tower, with the opportunity for expansion.

The Operating Room nurse will function in the circulating and/or scrub role at our ambulatory Operating Room. This role will effectively deliver perioperative care to the surgical patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. This position is located at Tully Health Center, 32 Strawberry Hill Ct in Stamford, CT.

Shift: 4 10s 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

1. Valid license as Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.

2. ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN preferred; will consider candidates with a plan to pursue BSN or BSN in progress.

3. BLS certification required.

4. Minimum of one-year nursing experience required; orthopedic experience highly preferred.
