Joseph Hospital of Orange, providing compassionate care to patients and their families is a sacred responsibility. That is why we seek those who share our passion for treating the whole person body, mind and spirit.
Under the immediate supervision of the Lead Support Technician and the general direction of the Clinical Coordinator or Charge Nurse, the Support Tech provides ancillary services in the Operating Room. The three major responsibilities consist of the following: 1) ensuring the availability of well-functioning equipment for every surgical case, 2) assisting nursing personnel in room set up & turnover and in selected patient support services such as turning, lifting, and transporting patients, and 3) maintaining a safe and clean work environment in the O.R. suites and peripheral areas. Consistently demonstrates behaviors that model the SJHS core values and the hospital's mission statement.
