Operating Room Aide

JOB SUMMARY The O.R. Patient Care Technician performs various duties and assists in the care of patients as assigned by the Nursing director, Patient Care Manager, Assistant Patient Care Manager, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse and OR Technician.

The ORPCT promotes public relation for the unit, nursing division, and the medical center.

Must communicate effectively within the organization. Responsible for all behavior of ORPCT job description and duties as assigned.

Projects a positive attitude to patients, staff, visitors, and students. Incumbents are subject to overtime and call-back as required by hospital.
