We are looking for a skilled Operating Engineer to join our Parks and Recreation department. This role involves maintaining and repairing heating, cooling, and power systems, ensuring smooth operations in various facilities.
Location: 1100 North Hamline Avenue
Schedule: Varied shifts, including weekends, evenings (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.), and nights (11 p.m.- 7 a.m.)

Must obtain Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) certification within one year of appointment as an Operating Engineer. Failure to obtain and/or maintain CPO certification will result in termination.
Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License or equivalent out of state driver's license.
Five years of experience operating, maintaining, and repairing power units, machinery, and accessories in the areas of air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, erecting and installing of refrigeration machinery and heating systems.
OR
If you hold a Second Class C Boiler license, you must be eligible to take the First Class C Boiler exam and obtain the license within fifteen months of appointment. Failure to obtain and/or maintain First Class C Boiler License will result in termination.

Assessment: Qualifications Rating
The Qualifications Rating is an assessment of your completed application and answers to the Supplemental Questionnaire.
