Open store, leading both Front and Back-of-House Team Members until Kitchen, Catering, and General Managers arrive.
Support operational excellence and strive to consistently exceed customer expectations through execution of Specialty's Store Operating Standards.
Take the lead, with responsibilities that range from assisting customers to supporting the entire bakery-caf team.
Coordinate daily Bakery-Caf's management operations.
Develop action plans to improve quality of store services.
Enforce policies and procedures by role-modeling and communicating expectations to team members.
Inspire team members to have fun while delivering exceptional customer experience.
Work as a lead team player with a passion for continuous learning.
Participate in training and developing team members.
Work as part of the Store Management Team to ensure the success of company and region wide roll-outs and initiatives, as well as ongoing adherence to company policies & procedures, including Store Operating Standards.
Ensure that team members are providing exceptional customer service and producing orders on time and correctly.
Utilize strong organization and cash management skills to ensure accurate handling of store funds.
Maintain high standards of bakery-caf procedures, cleanliness, sanitation standards, and food quality.
Perform additional projects/duties assigned by the General Managers.
2-3 years of Restaurant Management Experience.
Experienced restaurant professionals with a stead, stable employment track record, an attention to detail and outstanding interpersonal skills.
Provide outstanding leadership to team members.
Recruit, train and motivate team members.
Combine strategic planning, shift organization and day-to-day management activities.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality with or without reasonable accommodation.
Available to work 8 hours or more that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Authorized to work in the United States (Specialty's participates in E-Verify).
Criminal background record in good standing.
Food Handler Certificate/Card (Must have 2 weeks of hire).
Ability to kneel, reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and lift 35 pounds.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
Fast-paced, highly demanding and very rewarding.
This job operates in kitchen environment, house with equipment such as an oven, bread slicer, meat slicer, toaster, microwave, espresso machine, mixers, duchess, soup kettles, sheeter, and chef's knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, and noise.
There is also frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, meat products, and produce items.
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
