Team Member - Breakfast Shift

Carrols owns and operates more than 800 Burger King Restaurants, and we need great people on our team! As a Breakfast Team Member, you will help customers start the day right with our delicious breakfast sandwiches and coffee. You will welcome our guests, take their orders accurately and help them unwrap a new day!

What Does a BREAKFAST TEAM MEMBER do?

  • Serves our delicious breakfast menu to hungry customers

  • Welcomes the customer, takes accurate orders and manages their payments operating a cash register

  • Prep condiments and complete set up for lunch business

  • Restrooms, dining area and kitchen all need to be kept clean and meet safety and health standards

Our stores get flaming busy! Our Team Members need be able to work as a team in a fast paced environment to keep our guests happy and full. Your part of the team effort includes packaging food and drinks, and making sure the restaurant is clean and maintains health and safety standards.

We always want our customers to be happy, so you may have to answer a question or two, or resolve issues every once in a while.

  • You must be at least 16 years old

  • You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with your team

Working Hard!

The BreakfastTeam Member Position requires several physical demands including:

  • Remaining on your feet for several hours at a time

  • Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds

  • Manual dexterity as it pertains to pressing and grabbing

  • Ability to communicate and read

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping and reaching

Key Functions * Role model all safe work practices, standards/processes and on-the-job behavior by promoting and exhibiting our safety culture, and supporting our Company Vision & People Principles * Provide strategic leadership and direction setting for goals across Plymouth operations through continuous improvement * Be committed to and accountable for the team's success through active participation in a collaborative team environment * Provide the day-to-day leadership and direction to support the achievement of department, team and individual goals to ensure continuous improvement within the team. * Responsible for supporting production leadership to provide management and oversight of hourly associates in a manufacturing facility * Hold team members accountable for expectations and department goals * Increase performance by building and maintaining positive relationships through coaching, developing and instilling a continuous improvement mindset * Achieve and sustain business goals in a complex and fast-paced manufacturing environment * Understand the process flow and provide solutions to issues * Develop and lead team meetings and trainings * Identify safety, quality, and production issues * Assign work and evaluating job performance * Participate in and/or lead department initiatives and other assignments as required * Own and/or contribute to other mill functions, such as safety, environmental, or LEAN initiatives * Participate in incident investigations and follow-up activities * Lead the team by proactively resolving employee issues, building teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner * High School Diploma/GED (or higher) * Work related experience in leading and ensuring compliance with safety initiatives * At least three years of strong leadership experience * Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills * Strong planning, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities * Strong team building capabilities * Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based programs * Strong work ethic * Good judgment and decision-making skills * Proven ability to improve performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates through coaching, development and instilling a continuous improvement mindset * Must be willing to work any shift which may include weekends and holidays should business needs require * Ability to work in extreme temperatures and be ambulatory for the majority of an assigned shift * Ability to learn and comprehend entire manufacturing process Preferred Qualifiations * Bachelor's degree (or higher) in related field * Work related experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment * Lumber or Wood products experience * Experience with LEAN processes * Experience with SAP and ActivPlant About Wood Products We've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
