SUMMARY

Promotes Westgate Resorts through arranging tours for qualified potential timeshare purchasers, books room nights, sells attraction tickets, and provides concierge services in contracted locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Presents and arranges Westgate timeshare tour promotion to qualified guests at various contracted locations on a daily basis.

  • Arrange and book room nights for guests that walk in to the welcome centers.


    1. Las Vegas, NV specific. Will require you to work outside (in the sun) in weather/temperature conditions that can vary from 115+ degrees in the summer months to 32 degrees during the winter months.

  • Project a professional appearance and attitude.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

  • Initiate contact with as many people as possible.

  • Engage any and all guests in order to direct them towards Marketing Coordinator.

  • Promote interest in Westgate Resorts.

  • Direct and transition guests from themselves to the Marketing Coordinator.

  • Assist OPC in sending as many eligible guests to preview one of our resorts.

  • Maintain certain performance standards, up to, and including production

  • Direct and assist guests to transportation pick-up locations.

  • Ability to stand for undetermined periods of time, use written tools, speak clearly, hear effectively, and lift up to twenty-five pounds.

  • Ability to work outside, inside and in inclement weather.

  • Hand out all collateral required in the Marketing process.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of the area and surroundings.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to handle cash and tickets accurately and securely, be able to communicate well with others, enjoy working with tourists, be able to take direction well, possess strong auditing skills, and posses good management skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

About 2/3 or more of the time spent performing job requires talking and hearing. Standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle paperwork or to type or write, and reaching with hands or arms are required approximately 1/3-2/3 of time. There are no special vision requirements.

ENVIRONMENT

Work in Indoor and outdoor if required. Moderate noise levels are attributed to business office with computers and printers, light traffic. Las Vegas, NV specific. Will require you to work outside (in the sun) in weather/temperature conditions that can vary from 115+ degrees in the summer months to 32 degrees during the winter months.
