Responsibilities

Part Time Onsite Recreational Assistant:

Looking for a reliable self-efficient person to maintain surveillance of all activity in the facility to ensure safety and security of children and adults.

Part time will include nights and weekends

Other Duties include:

• Explain and enforce rules and regulations to homeowners and guests of the recreation facility.

• Identify situations where residents are not able to safely participate in an activity and inform the Director.

• Performs a variety of administrative functions as needed using various software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer programs, other office duties assigned by the Director.

• Responsible to open & close facility according to procedures, to include verifying that all doors are secure before leaving.

• Maintain homeowner & tenant files updating information, as necessary.

• Use exceptional customer service skills when handling complaints, incidents & accidents. Be courteous, friendly & helpful.

• Walk facility hourly, logging how many people are in each area, in addition to straightening rooms, picking up and reporting potential hazardous situations or safety concerns.

• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 40 pounds, stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

• Other work related tasks as needed

Qualifications

Skills required:

Customer Service Skills: An enjoyment of dealing with customers, being friendly, helpful and providing an excellent level of service to customers

Communication Skills: Can assess if a customer does not understand an instruction, policy or requirement, and can explain to them in different ways, to make sure they understand.

Team Player: Will help out and do other duties if required, not afraid to get their hands dirty and will go the extra mile.

Decision-making skills: Must be able to think on your feet and adapt to changing conditions.

Technical Skills: Must be able to pick up practical skills easily and become proficient in using them

Pay = $16.50 hour
