The Airgas Merchant Gases Internship program is dedicated to developing a diverse pipeline of future talent for our business and our communities while ensuring an exceptional experience for interns across Airgas Merchant Gases.
Onsite Commercial & Business Development Internship
The goal for the intern is to gain a basic understanding of Airgas and the industrial gas industry while becoming familiar with the AMG Onsite Business Development process. This will entail working closely with the Commercial Managers to support current Business Development projects.
By the end of the internship, the expectation is for the intern to have actively participated and contributed to at least one active project being worked on by the group and a handful of special projects for the Director of Onsites. In addition, several learning objectives should be achieved through the internship experience.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Engineering Technology), Finance, or a closely related technical field
Full-time summer availability
A minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks' availability for internship
0 - 15% Travel
Current level in college: Senior and Junior
A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
Previous internships or co-op's in an energy related field
Strong analytical/quantitative skills
Ability to generate effective solutions based on the available information
Makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical.
Develops strong relationships based on trust and seeks opportunities to collaborate across organizational boundaries to achieve business goals.
