WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Onsite Support Technician will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
Daily travel to downtown Louisville and support of Waterside and Humana Tower buildings
Self-driven attitude and work ethic.
Provide support and management of fully integrated conference rooms, boardrooms and large complex environments such as auditoriums.
Interface daily with the Humana ATX (Associate Technology Experience) AV Team and acts as an extension of their team.
Operation and functional testing of all AV and integrated conference room components/equipment.
Work in cooperation with the customer's management team in support of their equipment and user community.
Develop relationship with onsite support teams such as Conference Works, facilities management, executive team members/admins, and any and all end users as a reliable, respectful resource.
Installation of small to medium conference rooms including a wall mounted display and video conferencing devices.
Configuration of devices via web GUI or custom manufacturer software
Manage devices and rooms within Humana's Zoom portal for all conferencing equipment.
Complete and update work orders that are submitted by end users.
Report design issues and recommend improvements for existing rooms as needed without direction.
Items to Consider:
AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account.
This position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues
Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
Basic computer knowledge
Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control
Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standard
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be flexible to work after hours and weekends when required
Ability to regularly climb and work from ladders, lifting equipment, tools and materials
Nice-To-Haves:
Minimum of 1-2 years of audiovisual integration experience
Formal education in Electronics or related field
Intermediate PC troubleshooting knowledge
