The Account Management Professional 2 is responsible for growing membership within existing accounts and for directly managing business relationships with client accounts. The Account Management Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Account Management Professional 2 oversees customer account management. Develops and oversees customer campaigns and retention. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Prior sales experience in the health solutions industry

  • Valid state health and life insurance licenses

  • Effective communication skills

  • This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits

Preferred Qualifications

  • Account management experience

  • Health insurance industry experience

Work Hours/Shift: PRN Days You Will Be Responsible For: Comply with all department policies, procedures, practices and standards of care. Admit new patients according to Department procedure. Performs a comprehensive patient assessment, develop and implement an individual patient care plan based on ongoing interpretation of physiological, psychological, sociological deficits affecting the state of health of the patient. Evaluates patient progress toward care plan goals. Coordinates the activities of health team members to provide comprehensive care and continuity of services and conducts team meetings. Supervise and plan Home Health Aide activities appropriate to individual patient care requirements and in accordance with department policy. Displays flexibility in accepting assignment changes and readily accepts assignment and patient care responsibilities including participation in weekend/after-hours coverage and call rotation. Complete related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, Manager or Director. Maintains current drivers license, automobile insurance and BLS. Qualifications What You Will Need: Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing Minimum of (1) year of clinical experience in Medical/Surgical nursing Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theory, skills and practice. Problem solving abilities. Positive interpersonal communication skills. Team and customer service oriented. Basic computer skills required. IV therapy skills desirable. Venipuncture skills desirable. Job Summary: Perform the initial assessment of the patient and caregiver for the appropriateness of and acceptance for home health services; establishment and periodic review of the plan of care; implementation of medical treatment when ordered; referral follow-up, provision of, evaluation of and supervision of care; coordination of services given by other health care providers and documentation of all activities and findings.
