Job Description Summary
Supervises the day-to-day activities of an operations unit in support of offshore vendor for the assigned business function within an assigned group. Responsible for maintaining processes that achieve a high level of operational efficiency while maintaining proper internal controls to meet the changing business needs.
Essential Job Functions
Ensures operational integrity and technical applications are perform as designed to maximize benefit of the business unit/group.
Conducts regular meetings, documents discussions, issues, action items and appropriate resolution as it aligns to offshore scorecard performance criteria.
Interacts with offshore management on day-to-day activities and recommends opportunities for improvement.
Monitors and adjusts the daily workflow to ensure the operational commitments are met.
Analyzes and prepares reports for management on departmental goal achievement.
Serves as the liaison between the ban and the vendor for project support and coordination, business continuity situations and other operations incidents.
Maintains online documents and data for audit purposes.
Oversees the development of staff to ensure utilization in other areas of the organization. Exercises authority concerning hiring, performance management, reviews, promotions, salary decisions and terminations.
Advanced experience in Item Processing, such as, Proof of Deposit (POD) & Inclearings
Advanced ATM and Mobile deposit processing background
Management of remote domestic staff, offshore and/or outsourced relationships
Oversight and management of process improvement initiatives and projects
Intermediate experience in performing analysis and creating business cases
Management of throughput and quality results; implemented standards in a production environment
Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
Typically requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Requires 7 years minimum prior relevant experience
High School Diploma or GED Required
Advanced PowerPoint skills and creating presentations
Strong Excel skills
Project management concepts
Requires basic knowledge in managing vendor relationships
Strong knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline
Strong communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Knowledge of technology processes and products
Knowledge of disciplined vendor management principles and practices across the multiple disciplines
Ability to build and strengthen partnerships
Desire to work in a continuous improvement environment
