Bilingual Therapies is looking for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist CCC who is interested in making a change for school aged students this upcoming school year. This is an excellent school district, with lots of support, and a wonderful and welcoming team environment. The position will be done remotely (virtual) as a contract 1099 employee for through Bilingual Therapies working with K-12th grade students. Qualifying candidate will perform therapy, attend IEP meetings, and more!

We are ideally seeking a candidate that is already licensed in the state of California that can start and complete the school based assignment seamlessly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

  • Certificate of Clinical Competency

  • Has current SLP license (or is license-eligible) in state of practice

  • 2 years of recent school based experience a must!

  • Must pass Tech screening with fast internet speed

Treatment plans should be based on your own assessments as well as recommendations from social workers, physicians and psychologists.</li> <li> Assess patient needs and adjust treatments in accordance with patient progression.</li> <li> Evaluate language, speech or hearing test results as well as medical information and barium swallow results to diagnose and develop a treatment plan for swallowing, fluency, language, speech and voice disorders.</li> <li> Document information and write reports with details regarding patient billing, insurance, evaluations, progress, treatment and discharge of clients.</li> <li> Develop school programs or activities for individuals and/or groups to deal with language, swallowing, behavior and speech problems.</li> <li> Teach clients proper techniques for achieving more effective communication, such as lip reading, voice improvement and sign language.</li> <li> Instruct patients on how to strengthen the muscles of the face, tongue and jaw to facilitate improved speech.</li> <li> Refer clients when appropriate to additional educational or medical services.</li> </ul> <br /> <strong>Job Skills & Qualifications</strong><br /> Required <ul> <li> Master's degree</li> <li> Current state speech and language pathologist license</li> <li> Experience with Microsoft Suite</li> <li> Capable of performing essential job functions</li> </ul> <br /> Preferred <ul> <li>' Experience with pediatric, autistic and developmentally disabled clients</li> </ul> Aguilar Thomas Consulting San Francisco CA
