This position is responsible for the development of a product support strategic plan for the On-Highway Truck Department, and the successful management of the Truck Service/Parts Department's business plan. As such, this position evaluates, allocates and directs all human, physical and financial resources for the Department.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Monitor, Promote and Align the On-Highway Truck Department's daily business practices with the companies core values, mission, and vision so that they are effectively and consistently put into action.

  • Develop, Monitor, Promote and Implement strategic business plans for the Truck Departments in order to maintain stability and growth for the company.

  • Select, Evaluate and Develop the human resources of the Truck Departments in order to ensure competent, committed staff to provide Legendary Customer Satisfaction.

  • Evaluate, Allocate and Control the financial and physical resources (e.g. facilities, tooling, inventories) of the Truck Department in order to optimize quality, performance, and meet the needs of all stakeholder groups.

  • Monitor, Communicate and Implement daily operational practices (structure systems, processes) for Truck parts and service operations in order to provide Legendary Customer Service and achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.

It includes: Developing strategic plans and annual business plans, structuring self and others efforts to attain maximum productivity by establishing and monitoring deadlines, milestones, tasks, budget limits, and required resources; forecasting and visioning.

Guenther Marketing efforts by developing and processing information for price lists and special pricing decisions while managing the business to maintain and exceed channel goals. This position provides interdepartmental coordination of new product development and product changes, and provides information and analysis for business planning and demand management purposes. Is a key liaison to Customer Service, Accounting, Production, Logistics, Purchasing, Research & Development, Information Systems and other Sales Channels. Duties and Responsibilities: * A lead participant of the Product Development Team. Ensures timely development and commercialization utilizing company process and procedures. Participates and leads decisions in product viability, recognizes that the final formula represents the customer's expectations. Has oversight and sample approval authority in absence of Sales. * Sales and Marketing liaison to Production, Logistics, Research & Development and purchasing for product/package changes and introductions. Participate and represent Chain Account Marketing in Corporate initiatives. * Manages demand management through Forecast Analyst through communication with Sales, market intelligence and historical data for select channels/product categories. * Participate and lead discussions and activity that result in cost savings and operational efficiencies as a representative of the Sales and Marketing team. * Supports customer marketing requests and manages their portfolio of products as well as contribute as a liaison along with Pizza Blends Account Managers for specific customer accounts. This includes attending production runs and tours where customers are present as a CHG representative if necessary. * Responsible for initiating and maintaining SAP data by collaborating with QA, Purchasing, R&D and Sales to ensure data integrity. * Champions the pricing/costing requests, providing alternative solutions. Recommendations should include analysis of comprehensive, cost and timing factors. * Participate and lead discussion and implementation of SKU rationalization for Pizza Blends Sales Channel. Research and offer solutions for alternative product solutions to declining products. * Scopes projects, gathers data, analyzes information and recommends solutions to business issues as assigned by the Marketing Manager. * Provide product support to Sales Team, preparation, specifications. Provide bias on product cuttings and formulation adaptiveness to customer's expectations. * Represents C.H. Guenther at trade shows and customer events as needed. * Participates in the daily customer service meetings identifying any Foodservice product/customer problems to the Sales and Marketing Department. * Responsible for generating and maintaining GTIN database finished good item reference for all Pizza Blends facilities and Sales Channel. * Back up the bill of material process. Minimum Job Requirements: Education/Certifications: * Minimum requirement of Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience. Must possess valid driver's license. Experience: * At least 3 years experience in sales and marketing environment. Knowledge/Skills: * Strong project management skills. * Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. * Proficient skills in PowerPoint and Access at or above intermediate level. * Demonstrated leadership and possesses the ability to develop interdepartmental relationships. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Must have strong mathematical skills. * Strong problem solving skills. * Requires ability to lead and motivate others. * Must be able to gain cooperation of functional departments to take action without authority over these groups.
