We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's diverse student body as a rank of department beginning in the 2024-2025 academic year. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction within the academic programs beginning Fall 2024.

Lecturers will be responsible for teaching undergraduate College Algebra, Elementary Statistical Methods, and/or other introductory courses in the School. In addition, lecturers with doctoral degrees may be assigned advanced undergraduate courses. This posting is for the 2024-2025 academic year and is subject to change based on enrollment needs and budgetary approval.

M.S. in Mathematics from an accredited university.

Preferred Qualification

Teaching experience is desirable, as well as ability to use technology to support teaching and learning. Candidates with doctoral degrees in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or Statistics are preferred.
