Position Summary The Operations Analyst for Oncology Services will report directly to the Operations Manager for Oncology Services. This position will have a wide range of duties but will primarily be focused on strategic project management/planning and data analytics. This role will provide operational support to all departments of the Gibbs Cancer Center. This position will also serve as a SME for decision support pertaining to the creation of new programs and revamping of outdated processes/policies to better patient care. The Operations Analyst for Oncology Services will be expected to have a working knowledge of MS excel and other programs used to gather, analyze, and report data. Further, this position requires the ability to interact with various levels of the Gibbs Cancer Center#s leadership team and cancer center physicians to effectively aid in project exploration and management. Finally, this position will be expected to work closely with other external departments such as finance, business intelligence, clinical outcomes, information technology, and strategic planning. # Minimum Requirements Education

PMP Six Sigma Greenbelt # Core Job Responsibilities Work with all cancer center departments under the supervision of the Operations Manager of Oncology Services to aid in the facilitation/management of projects and process improvement initiatives Use software programs (i.e., MS Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, EPIC Slicer-Dicer) designed to extract, analyze, compile, and present data in an organized fashion to provide decision support Serve as a quality improvement facilitator for the oncology division Support the cancer center#s oncology data specialists in the management and maintenance of cancer registry software (i.e., ONCOlog) Serve as a liaison between the cancer center#s leadership and the business intelligence department to continue to grow capabilities and access to real-time data and information Work closely with SRHS marketing team to facilitate marketing campaigns and manage the cancer center#s annual report and other publications Aid in the strategic capital budgeting requisition process for Oncology and Pharmacy Services Aid in the creation, operationalization, and tracking of cancer center specific AOP goals each year Aid in grant financial and operational management as needed (may include some grant writing) Work under the supervision of the Operations Manager of Oncology Services, other departmental directors, finance, etc. to create proformas to establish/update programs to better serve our community. Aid in the fulfillment of data requests (must understand IRB policies) #Work to ensure all cancer center policies are up-to-date and suggest areas for policy improvement Special projects as assigned Other duties as assigned
