  • Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our new Oncology unit scheduled to open September of 2024.

WORK SCHEDULE

90% FTE, 36 hours per week (12 hour shifts)

Day and Night positions

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

E1 Oncology will be a newly established 29-bed inpatient oncology unit. This is an excellent opportunity to join a brand-new, dedicated nursing team that always puts their patients first.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Screen patients for Oncology treatment

Place IVs, and initiate, assess and observe patients during infusions

Provide procedural support

Document all activities in the Electronic Medical Record

Provide care management education for patients and their families

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Active BLS Certification

Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State required by start date

One year of current or recent Oncology nursing experience preferred

ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate preferred
