Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Oncology Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for using ONS standards and guidelines, maintaining accurate and safe disposal of biohazardous waste as per OSHA and HRS guidelines, and providing ongoing patient assessment. Your duties will also include entering accurate documentation in OncoEMR of treatments rendered, ensuring appropriate charges are captured, and moderating chemotherapy classes as needed. You will also educate patients and their families about medications, side effects, and treatment plans and prioritize incoming calls and messages from various stakeholders. Additionally, you will assist with inventory and medical supplies restocking, and have a working knowledge of dispensing medications via Nucleus.

Hard Skills

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of employment

• Experience in IV infusion/therapy

• Ability to assess patient needs and condition

• Strong critical thinking skills

• Current CPR & BLS certifications

• Fluency in the English language

• Valid Driver's license, in state of residency, for travel to clinics

Soft Skills

• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Work Environment

You will be working in an Oncology medical office/clinic. Specific working hours will be discussed during the interview process.
