These products have also been granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation by the FDA for BRAF mutated CRC.

Summary:

Array is expanding our Field Medical Team in anticipation of a potential second indication for encorafenib and binimetinib in BRAF mutant colorectal cancer. The team will also provide continued support for the combination in BRAF mutant melanoma and to our development pipeline. This is a unique opportunity help build out the Field Medical Team at Array. The MSL team will be on the front lines of the company's growth and will be part of a dynamic period in the company's history.

The field based Medical Science Liaison (MSL/Sr. MSL) role, reporting to the MSL Director, is an expert in the field and will focus on supporting launch activities, marketed products & pipeline agents as they enter clinical development. The MSL is responsible for developing partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in medicine, providing clinical support for brand plans, supporting the development of Array Biopharma compounds, and disseminating clinical information about Array's products to healthcare professionals and organizations. Will include training and/or mentoring other MSLs, and leadership roles as it pertains to special internal projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain scientifically credible peer-to-peer scientific relationships with national, regional, and local opinion leaders in addition to other healthcare providers

  • Facilitate strategic partnerships with scientific/clinical experts and serve as point of contact with organizations including but not limited to

  • Guideline organizations (ASCO, NCCN)

  • Cooperative groups (SWOG, ECOG, Alliance, NRG Oncology)

  • Serve as a resource of clinical and scientific information for internal stakeholders

  • Provide impactful feedback/information to internal stakeholders on emerging clinical and scientific trends

  • Assist in the development and execution of clinically relevant regional medical meetings (eg, advisory boards, consultant, and investigator meetings)

  • Supports Clinical Development/Operation teams in identifying strategies/tactics for successful study execution

  • Serve as a liaison for the submission and review of Investigator Sponsored Trial proposals (ISTs)

  • Work cross-functionality to provide balanced and accurate information to top regional formulary decision makers and P&T committee members in conjunction with the market access team.

  • Assist in training and/or Mentor new MSL team members

  • Promote collaboration and cooperation within the team and cross-functionally

  • Demonstrate strategic planning and prioritization of work activities beyond defined geography

  • Ensure that all activities, interactions and communications are compliant with the policies and SOPs of Array Biopharma, and adheres to OIG, ACCME, and PhRMA guidelines/policies

Skills and Requirements

Requirements:

  • PharmD, PhD, MD preferred. Advanced degree Nurses, NPs, PAs, or those with a Master's degree in life sciences with commensurate pharmaceutical industry and clinical research experience will also be considered

  • 3+ years of as a Medical Science Liaison (or equivalent role) required

  • Oncology/Hematology therapeutic area experience required

  • Experience with melanoma and GI oncology preferred

  • Demonstrated ability in discussing scientific content and context to multiple audiences

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication (written as well as oral) skills

  • Ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic cross functional environment

  • Drug launch support experience preferred

  • Experience working with managed care organizations and understanding of health economics preferred

  • Ability to travel (30-50%)

The Oncology Sales Consultant will conduct their business with key Oncology Clinics and appropriate targeted Oncologist and related oncology health care specialists. The incumbent will have additional responsibilities for sales activities in teaching and community hospitals, federal and military hospitals. The OSC will manage a geography that may require overnight travel and occasional night and weekend Oncology meeting responsibilities. Duties & Responsibilities: * Maintains and utilizes Oncology product knowledge and highly effective selling skills in order to influence targeted Oncology health care professionals to support the use of BIPI promoted products. Executes brand strategies and business plans to ensure a consistent company sales and marketing message. Establishes and maintains effective communication/cooperation/coordination with internal BIPI employees. * Develops clinic and customer Pre-call plans to meet oncology health care professionals' (HCP) and account needs. Builds valued discussion around Oncology HCP needs and opportunities. Fosters Oncology HCP network development and communication. Has accurate and timely follow-up discussions with Oncology HCP. Uses appropriate BIPI Sales Training techniques, supports and encourages exchange of scientific knowledge and dialogue thereby providing enhanced value and trust to the HCP through facilitation of patient management and decision making process. * Identifies key Oncology business needs and activities, establishes business plans to address all Oncology territory business needs and actively involves Associate Director, Nurse Educator, Payer Relations Managers, and other BI Internal support personnel in the development, management and accomplishment of business strategies, plans and opportunities. * Analyzes territory information to optimize Oncology HCP calls. Monitors and effectively reacts to local market conditions for changes that impact business. Develops plans to maximize Regional and National speaker and other regional sales and marketing programs. Adjusts implementation plans on a regular basis (speaker development and management, advocate development, etc.). Creates opportunities that meet both territory and brand tactics.
