Job Description

Seeking a compassionate and dedicated Oncology Licensed Practical Nurse to join our medical team. In this crucial role, you will be utilizing ONS standards and guidelines to maintain accurate and safe disposal of biohazardous waste in compliance with OSHA and HRS guidelines. Your responsibilities will include ongoing patient assessments, entering thorough and accurate documentation in OncoEMR regarding treatments rendered, and ensuring proper charges are captured. You will adhere strictly to the company's identification policy and procedures during every patient encounter. Additionally, you may act as a moderator or instructor for chemotherapy classes when required, educating patients and their families about medications, side effects, and the treatment course, while interacting with them in a caring and professional manner. You will be tasked with prioritizing incoming communications, assisting with inventory management, and having a working knowledge of dispensing medications via Nucleus, including performing cycle counts and restocking medications.

Hard Skills

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of employment

• IV infusion/therapy experience

• Current CPR & BLS certifications

• Ability to use OncoEMR

• Proficiency in English with strong oral and written communication skills

• Valid Driver's license for clinic travel
