Oncology Associate Key Account Mgr (OAKAM) is to represent Teva Oncology products, as part of the brand strategy within Oncology clinics and hospitals while collaborating with Teva's IDN Key Account Management team in shared hospital accounts. OAKAM is accountable for the implementation of product access strategies/tactics, pulling through GPO contract wins, gaining formulary access and driving volume through the Letter of Commitment (LOC) program in their geography. The ability to successfully network and penetrate key account targets while developing and cultivating long-term working relationships is critical.
In concert with Regional Sales Manager and the IDN KAM team, identify, develop, and maintain relationships with strategically important decision makers in your geography. Demonstrate business acumen through analysis to identify, create, and quantify business opportunities, attend all relevant Society Meetings where key decision makers will be in attendance.
Have a working knowledge of generic and brand pharmaceutical industry, contracting, distribution channels, pricing, chargebacks and institutional sales.
Facilitate purchase of targeted Oncology products individually and in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams and negotiate contracts.
Monitor account contract performance to ensure compliance with the goal of driving incremental sales.
Gain formulary access for targeted Teva Oncology Brands
Identify opportunities to drive business through the Letter of Commitment (LOC) program.
This position will include the entire state of Tennessee. Nashville is the center of the territory but is not a requirement to live there. The selected candidate must live within the geography of the territory.
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical, Healthcare or pharmaceutical sales experience required
Demonstrated career success in sales or related industries
Master's degree preferred
Experience in Oncology, Market Access or Marketing within the pharmaceutical industry
Experience in reimbursement, contracting and pharmaceutical pricing strategies a plus
Hospital / Account Mgmt experience
Biologic experience preferred
Understanding of healthcare delivery systems, including "Buy and Bill", reimbursement, contracting and pharmaceutical pricing strategies and specific to Oncology including clinics, GPOs and IDNs
Ability to rapidly develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and their decision makers including (C-Suite selling)
Ability to work in a heavily matrixed environment across various functional teams
