Essential Duties & Responsibilities

This position is an oncall position, the ideal candidate would be available to be on-call days for extra coverage.

  • Assist residents with concierge-related services, as established by Board of Directors

  • Assist with any requests directed by the General Manager or Vice President

  • Lobby greeter

  • Assist with the research and purchasing of common area products and services

  • Provides services as requested by Board of Directors

  • Assist in planning and organizing Resident events

  • Liaison with any Community Social Committees

  • Assist General Manager in arrangement of any Board or Membership Meetings, as needed

  • Create and send Resident notices

  • Works with the Management Staff to research and resolve Resident issues

  • Creates relationships with local businesses and vendors

  • Oversee & make reservations for any common area amenities

  • Conducts community tours

  • Improves services by obtaining and evaluating resident observations opinions, and criticisms.

  • Maintain the privacy of all residents

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks

  • Enhances department and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

  • Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Practice and adhere to First Service Residential Global Service Standards.

  • Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.

  • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.

  • May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.

  • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.

  • Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Completion of college level courses with concentration in business or hospitality is strongly desirable.

  • Two (2) or more years of experience in the hospitality or related concierge industry

Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Standard Office Equipment (e.g. computer, copier, fax)

  • Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures

  • Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions
