The Onboarding Specialist position is a strategic partnership with restaurant operations. In general, it coordinates the HR functions in multiple restaurant locations. In addition, HR services such as hiring, as well as executing reward, recognition programs and assisting with employee development. This position is also responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reporting of key performance indicators and developing reporting tools to communicate any performance data integrity issues.

This key position works in conjunction with the Area Supervisors and Owner/Operators, closely with the store managers, and reports directly to the Owner(s)/Operator(s).

Ideal candidate has experience in quick service and/or fast casual restaurant management as well as experience in employee selection process (recruiting).

The Onboarding Specialist can work approximately 24 - 40 per week and should be available to work Saturdays. This is a part time or full time position.

We are seeking HIGH ENERGY and CHARISMATIC professionals who can communicate our company culture and objectives to our candidates and newly hired employees. Seeking bilingual employees who can speak Spanish or Arabic.

Job Profile:

Employee Selection

  • Screen and manage online applicants

  • Conduct initial interviews and schedule second interviews with the store managers if necessary

  • Strive to insure a diverse work force

  • Attend local job fairs to network with candidates

Orientations

  • Conduct crew WOW orientations at various restaurants in area

  • Complete I9's insuring acceptable documentation is presented

  • Go over Employee Handbook, covering all rules & policies, ensuring all paperwork is completed, signed and dated

  • Distribute uniform components to restaurants immediately prior to a new hire's first day to ensure candidates have appropriate uniform elements and hats/visors.

Other

  • Supporting Restaurant Operations

  • Retrieve employee folders for terminated employees

  • Distribute pay checks on pay days (bi-weekly on Tuesday currently)

Generate report of sales, cash and labor metrics, identifying outliers in various performance areas related to sales and productivity

  • Other tasks as directed by the Owner/Operators

Compensation: $45,000- $55,000 (hourly or salaried) + mileage reimbursement.
