On-Site Superintendent

They are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team and oversee our underground utility projects from inception to completion. Position Overview: The Superintendent will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of our site development projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in heavy and civil construction, specifically in asphalt paving. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of asphalt construction projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.

Manage and supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and company standards. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays that arise.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment. Review and approve work performed by subcontractors and inspect completed work. Prepare and submit progress reports, daily reports, and other required documentation.

Maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Superintendent in heavy and civil construction, with a focus on site development.

Strong knowledge of asphalt materials, equipment, and construction techniques.

Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in construction software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications. Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are a plus.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt construction with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
