On-Site Intern Business Intelligence Developer

Job Description Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION: The purpose of the Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Intern role is to assist in the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions.

The intern will support the Subject Matter Expert in data analysis, report generation, and maintenance of BI systems to help the organization make data-driven decisions. Additionally, the intern will perform IT duties to support the local facility. DUTIES/PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions.

Examples of BI solutions include: o Dashboards: Interactive visual displays of key metrics and performance indicators. o Reports: Detailed documents that provide insights into specific areas of the business. o Data Warehousing:

Centralized storage of large volumes of data from various sources. o Data Visualization: Using tools like charts, graphs, and maps to represent data visually. • Work with Subject Matter Expert’s to gather and analyze business requirements. • Develop data queries and reports based on business needs. • Conduct data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency. • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues at the local facility. • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to business intelligence systems, desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. • Collaborate with other departments to understand their data needs and provide appropriate analytics solutions. • Ensure the security and integrity of data within business intelligence systems and the local network. • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and manage asset tracking. • Provide training and support to end-users on business intelligence tools, IT systems, and software. • Document processes, methodologies, and best practices. • Participate in meetings and contribute to project planning and execution. • Assist in any other needed tasks when applicable. • Perform all job duties as defined in the Titus Precision Quality Management System, Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions. • Observe all government laws and regulations. Details on the Employee’s Main Activities: • Writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation. • Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations using business intelligence tools. • Ensuring the integrity and security of data within analytics systems. • Providing support and training to end-users on business intelligence tools and IT systems. • Providing technical support and resolving IT issues for the local facility. • Installing and configuring computer systems and networks. • Ensuring data security. EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED: • Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and database management. • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying. • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS, Crystal Reports, Matplotlib). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. • Basic understanding of data visualization principles. • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. • Understanding of IT security principles and practices.
