About the role
four Seasons Hotel Houston is looking for On-Call Banquet Servers to set up buffets and food stations, and serve plated meals to guests, while also completing individual guest requests.
What you will do
Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table; maintain knowledge of each selection's, origin, taste, and preparation method
Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the Banquet Manager or kitchen
Check completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order
Transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
Assist in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.
What you bring
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year food service or related work
Ability to carry and balance a tray.

Schedule & Hours:
On-Call servers must work no less than 9 shifts in a 90-day period.
On-Call servers must work 2 of 4 Holiday Brunches per year. 1 of either Easter or Mother's Day. 1 of either Thanksgiving or Christmas.
On-Call servers will review the schedule email and reply, confirming the shifts that they are able or unable to work, no later than 24 hours after receipt of that email.
If the minimum requirement of shifts are not met, Four Seasons Hotel Houston may no longer schedule that colleague for shifts and has the right to terminate that colleague's employment with 30 days written notice.
