As an Ecommerce Planner for SIX:02, you will work together with buying and merchandising sharing your mastery of establishing plans and adjusting forecasts to make each season successful. The numbers tell a story and we need someone able to maintain in-season OTB to minimize risk and maximize opportunities to achieve budgeted financial goals. This role is key to our ongoing profitability so a strong understanding of the sales and replenishment process and having a proven background with vendors and the inventory lifecycle in Ecommerce is what we are seeking. Knowing the balance between historical data and trends while being able to explain the analysis and influence others is the paramount responsibility in our planner position.

  • Create pre-season financial category plans by week to support department merchandise strategy.

  • Analyze results and receipt of merchandise to create a plan based on assigned budgets and adjust forecasts based on current and expected results.

  • Partner with the buying and merchandising teams to build bottoms up plans.

  • Analyze and report actionable information highlighting trends, opportunities and exceptions.

  • Interact with buyers and merchandisers to analyze sales, markdowns, margin, turn and receipt of goods.

  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly plans and forecasts.

  • Work with Director of Planning to ensure merchandise plan reflects future trends, highlights sales opportunities, markdowns, receipt exposures and recommends productive solutions.

  • Creates vendor plans and forecasts. Communicates vendor results and future outlook with vendors on a weekly basis. Discusses opportunities with vendor partners.

  • Projects weekly aged inventory performance.

  • Partner with Senior Executives and buyers to develop a merchandise mix and coordinate the buy plan with the teams.

  • Provide and create Ad-Hoc reports as requested.

  • Create and maintain assortment ladder plans.

  • Partner with our vendors to tear down prior results and give future forecasts and detail opportunities.

  • Interface with Senior Executives and make knowledge based recommendations.

  • Translate complex analysis into simple terms.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • Relevant ecommerce planning experience required

  • Advanced Excel skills are needed

  • Knowledge of Merchandise Planning Systems SAS Planning/Market Max or similar planning tool

  • Knowledge of BI System such as MicroStrategy or equivalent

About this role: An Experience Manager is a Product Manager who balances Business, Technology and Design priorities to deliver brand defining service experiences. Work will span the delivery process, from identifying customer needs, to defining the experiences, to ensuring successful launch and ongoing enhancements. You will lead an integrated team that represents the customer, the business and the development teams. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups in a matrix organization. What you'll be doing: ● Define and socialize experience value propositions based upon customer insights and behavioral data forconsumers'omni-channel experiences and initiatives such as Get It My Way.Align with cross-functional leadership to leverage key initiatives in other areas of the business that could enhance the overall value proposition. ● Develop strategies and business models to enhance experiences for customers who have multiple connected touch points at web and store through out the purchase process. ● Manageomni-channel initiatives such as in-store pick up and in-store digital purchase points ( i.e. Endless Aisle) for robust implementation. ● Work with business on prioritization and management of all aspects of the experience (product) roadmap through collaboration/input from other team members. Core to the role is clearly articulating the level of effort to enable and lead prioritization. ● Provide direction, guidance, and translate business requirements and customer insights for designers, IT,Digital Operations, national/retail operationsand other key stakeholders. This direction can include performing analysis, defining requirements/user stories, working with teams to develop solutions to meet these requirements, and to test and deliver experiences with the customer in mind. ● Serve as a trusted advisor across teams and the business on how an experience does/could manifest throughout the product. What we're looking for... You'll need to have: ● 5+ years of consumer-facing digital product management experience in a leadership capacity. ● 8+ years marketing experience, retail and/or other sales experience. ● Ability to work out of the Basking Ridge, New Jersey or 140 West St., New York office with some work days in Piscataway, NJ and legal authorization to work in the US. Even better if you have: ● Experience defining and driving the vision of experience programs and/or partnership-based programs a plus. ● A track record of gaining the trust and respect of others so as to build and lead worldclassteams in transformational and high growth environments. ● BS/BA; Advanced degree in engineering, design, or business a plus. ● History of building next gen experiences at scale with cutting edge organizations. Strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues. ● Comfort managing concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment with equal enthusiasm for high-level strategic planning and tactical daily execution.
