The Market Development team is looking for an Omnichannel Marketing Lead who will be responsible for developing and executing Affirm's B2B2C omnichannel marketing strategy. The goal will be to increase Affirm's customer production adoption in-store, online and across channels at our retail partners.


  • Develop Affirm-branded physical and digital merchandising campaigns

  • Co-branded creative by working with our merchant partner, and third-party agencies

  • Pricing, promotional, and seasonal strategies

  • Customer segments and the corresponding audience-specific campaign initiatives

  • Relationships with third-party merchandising and operations partners (printing, setting, verifying)

  • Playbooks that synthesize marketing strategies for our various retail archetypes

  • Innovative product & technology partnership opportunities that will drive marketing at scale

  • ROI models to measure marketing allocations


  • 5+ years' experience developing marketing activation strategies in the omnichannel retail space

  • Experience scaling marketing operations within hundreds of geographic markets/locations

  • Experience building digital and physical marketing programs for financial or technology products

  • A creative, nimble problem solver: you love taking complex problems and breaking them down into actionable, value-driving initiatives

  • Client empathy and understanding of how to navigate complex partner organizations

What the Job Entails * Lead marketing for Personal Loans business * Direct and manage a performance-oriented marketing team * Own marketing budget, resourcing plan, goal setting and ultimate outcomes for all personal loans marketing initiatives * Develop and implement plans, from strategy to execution, on how to grow the personal loans business * Study, monitor and learn from competitors that are relevant to the personal loans business * Provide necessary leadership in crafting members' experiences that balance business needs, company's vision, member needs and product priorities Our Ideal Candidate Has * 6+ years of experience B2C digital marketing, including experience leading teams and groups cross-functionally to the best outcome * 2+ years directly managing a performance marketing channel (Search, Display, Paid Social, Email, etc.) in a B2C environment as an individual contributor (not via an agency) * An analytical mind and proven track record of using data at all levels for decision making * A passion for experimentation and creating a culture of learning * Ability to synthesize disparate information sets into a cohesive narrative and strategy * Mastery of communicating to others in a succinct and easy to understand manner * Passion and savvy for applying new technologies for next-generation consumer-facing product experiences in the financial space * Highly collaborative and influential - enjoys getting everyone on the same page to drive action * 1+ years in a strategic role (e.g., consulting) a plus * Ability to stand in as a backup singer or stellar bass player for our in-house band a huge plus` #LI-AP1 Credit Karma San Francisco CA
