General Description

As the Omnichannel Associate you are accountable for contributing to profitable sales growth by executing Enterprise Fulfillment and activities and strategies to include Customer Service & Sales, Enterprise Fulfillment, operations, and general operations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service & Sales Greets and assists customers in finding products, delivering outstanding customer service; demonstrates customer service behaviors consistently; actively listens to customer issues in a calm and agreeable manner to resolve problems; actively promotes company products and services; partners with team members effectively.

  • Enterprise Fulfillment Monitors the Enterprise Fulfillment systems application, picks merchandise orders, and acknowledges completion in the system; accurately packs orders in accordance with packaging requirements and timelines; completes all Ship from Store and Buy Online Pickup in Store activities in a timely manner

  • Operations Researches order shortages/overages and completes shipment check-in; completes order binning and system reporting to complete the processes; assists with overall organization and maintenance of stock area; processes order deliver and return transactions on the register

  • General Operations Partners with Merchandise Associates/Assistants to replenish store and/or takes personal action to replenish products from inventory; Participates in annual inventory process

  • Performance Standards Consistently meets established performance standards; including but not limited to: shrink and safety initiatives, Omnichannel, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

  • Work experience- Minimum 1-2 years

  • Education- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred; HS degree or equivalent is required

The Channel Manager is responsible for supporting Laboratory Products (LPD) growth through in North America. This entails working with Laboratory Products Commercial, Product Management, and Market Development teams to execute high impact field-based initiatives in support of the product portfolio. The position will have responsibility for the North America channel growth and will provide field collaboration and support to leverage new product launches, industry segment strategies, and our position in key accounts. In addition, the candidate must establish and manage a mutually beneficial relationship with the their strategic channels based on trust and common goals. What will you do? * Drive Channel sales objectives and awareness of the Laboratory Products Portfolio through training and sales engagement and events * Develop and maintain Sales and Sales Management relationships with channels to promote the Laboratory Products Division portfolio * Understand who the key players are in the channel and foster relationships to drive growth * Monitor market dynamics and understand competitor actions which guide future selling strategies/efforts * Collaborate with other functional areas within Thermo Fisher to execute channel business/market plans * Provide a monthly report and track metrics to AOP * Establish robust monthly business reviews to assess growth targets or variances to plan * Provide input into strategic plans which optimize channel performance * Create and implement programs that drive revenue improvement * Develop processes to identify and corrective actions to recover from shortfalls within specific product categories * Actively participate in the AOP development * Provide input into the annual channel marketing plan that supports growth initiatives * Establish appropriate sales targets for the channel with input from the Laboratory Products Division business units How will you get there? * Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and sales data analysis * Ability to plan, gain consensus and execute a project to completion and success * Demonstrated success in forming interdepartmental relationships, ability to influence and lead peers and channel partners * Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills * Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative and good business judgment and attitude * Strong organizational and time management skills * Experience within company or other Life Science competitor Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria: * Ability to travel domestically (40%) to interface with key customers and internal teams * 7+ years of experience in industry or related field with progressively increasing responsibilities * Experience in sales and marketing (2 years minimum) * Proven ability to complete projects and demonstrate success * Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, multi-site environment * BS degree in Sciences, Engineering or Business, MBA preferred At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 70,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
