SUMMARY

As the Omni Purchase Experience Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the overall digital product strategy Pella's enterprise purchase experiences (both internal and external, for customers and sales team members) while ensuring growth against targeted goals through continuous improvements and strategic investments. This role requires a proven track record in driving innovation in technology and user experience, understanding of customer research/ facilitation, deep knowledge of E-Commerce channel optimization through effective traffic-driving tactics and campaigns and working through partnerships across functions. Due to the connectivity across the business, this role must also form strategic relationships across multiple disciplines within Pella, to identify was to optimize and grow this channel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead vision and strategy for holistic and seamless product education, shopping and purchase experience through our digital ecosystem

  • Build a high performance, versatile and agile digital team capable of driving transformational change for the organization and who can stay on top of cutting edge technology trends and apply to our go-to-market strategy

  • Remove friction from customer experience through continuous improvement of CPQ tools; leading vision and strategy to drive omni product escalation while championing simplicity

  • Manage and drive improvements to the E-commerce P&L, including revenue, margin and expense improvement.

  • Advocate for broader connections of e-commerce with the rest of the digital experience across pella.com, content marketing, digital advertising, organic and paid search, and social media

  • Develop and deploy modernized merchandising tactics to drive growth within the channel; incorporate modern direct marketing campaigns that capitalize on the e-commerce value proposition and target the right consumers

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to report on performance of processes and programs and transform data into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Manage the e-commerce budget and metrics, providing monthly and quarterly reports as required

  • Continue to grow omni-channel strategies and execute plans including ensuring appropriate platform and consumer experience strategies are in place.

  • Demonstrating creativity, out-of-the-box thinking and resourcefulness in leading team to meet ambitious growth goals

  • Advocate for customer both internal and external

Travel - 10-20 percent, with seasonal requirements for heavier activity.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises various employees and indirectly many other team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Subject matter expertise in web production, site operations, UI/UX, and content and digital marketing strategy, digital marketing tactics

  • Experience and success developing and implementing integrated digital marketing with measurable results.

  • Experience in online advertising and online acquisition campaigns required.

  • Experience with Oracle, HTML, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Applications required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • 7 years directly related, progressively responsible work experience.
  • 5 years' experience with hands-on ecommerce with a for-profit business, non-profit organization or with a consultant working closely with nonprofits.
