The Strategic Initiatives Omni Channel Intern is responsible for performing the essential process and procedure oriented functions required to ensure the success of critical retail and outlet Omni Channel initiatives.
Manage Day to Day Operations:
Assist in the coordination of communication to stores regarding Omni project details
Research and address store process issues
Review daily fill rate reporting to identify productivity opportunities and create recommendations for action plans
Support the development of Omni Channel Newsletters
Assist with the development of Omni Maps
Support the implementation and tracking of implementation checklists
Assist with the creation of roll out schedules and communication plans
Support the management of various initiatives that support Omni experiences
Assist in the development and execution of Project Plans to support Omni Channel and Strategic Initiatives
Participate in cross functional meetings and assist in the gathering of notes and action items to support project plans
Gather findings and information from various resources to determine correct policy and procedures for stores
Create and maintain manuals related to Standards Operating Procedures
Field Support and Feedback:
Leverage field recommendations and key hindsight by applying them to projects to create new processes for stores to increase efficiencies and operating procedures.
Support the management of Field feedback mechanisms
Create strong partnerships with Field leaders to understand potential issues/callouts in the field that Store Operations can work to improve
Test processes and procedures prior to store rollout
Rising Junior or Senior standing
Ability to Intern full time during Summer 2019
Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
Analytical and project planning skills
Preferred Requirements (skills and abilities)
Demonstrates the ability to identify issues/opportunities
Excellent customer service, relationship building and team building skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently
Experience in a retail environment
