Serves as the coordinator of all medical care and test referrals for site. The coordinator is charged with the timely and appropriate scheduling of all patient referrals to specialty, hospital and ancillary providers as requested by OMC's medical providers. Responsible for coordinating appointments, ensuring the patient's medical and demographic information is received by the specialty/outside provider, ensuring that the patient is notified of the appointment and any special testing requirements, and tracking patient compliance with the referral appointment.

Overlake Medical Clinics, (OMC), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Overlake Hospital Medical Center focused on adding new primary care clinics and expanding its physician network to better serve patients in convenient locations close to where they live and work. Overlake operates primary care and specialty care clinics throughout the Eastside, locations are on the Overlake Medical Center campus, downtown Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, Redmond and our senior health center in Bellevue. In addition, we offer Urgent Care services in Bellevue, Redmond and Issaquah.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required. AA or BA preferred.

  • 2 years experience in a physician practice

  • Requires minimum of one year working experience in an outpatient physician clinic.

  • Experience working with the referral/authorization process preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal/people skills.

  • Strong organizational/multi-tasking skills.

Overlake Medical Clinics, LLC (OMC) is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology Clinic located on campus in Bellevue. The Nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with standards of care and practice, collaborating with the Clinic Manager and Associate Medical Director in developing and maintaining clinic protocols, policies and procedures. Additionally, the Clinic Nurse will provide direction to the non-physician clinical team and educate patients and families on health education, disease prevention and chronic disease management. This is a Per Diem, On Call position in the Cardiology Clinic Overlake Clinics, (OC), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Overlake Medical Center focused on adding new primary care clinics and expanding its physician network to better serve patients in convenient locations close to where they live and work.
