Job Summary

Our Staffing Managers work in a team environment and have responsibility for negotiating and developing business with new and current clients. Staffing Managers market our services via telephone and by conducting in-person meetings with hiring managers and decision-makers in accounting and finance departments. Additional responsibilities include: recruiting, interviewing and matching highly skilled accounting and finance professionals with clients' projects, temporary assignments and temporary to full-time opportunities; managing ongoing assignments to deliver outstanding customer service to both clients and candidates; providing ongoing communication and career guidance to candidates; and participating in local trade association and networking events to increase Accountemps' presence in the local business community.

Qualifications:

  • Accounting/Finance/Business Administrative degree preferred.

  • 1+ years finance, accounting, or banking experience preferred.

  • 2+ years' experience with Business Development in a Metrics Driven environment. At least one with success in developing new business in a multicall, multidecision maker environment years' finance, accounting, or banking experience preferred.

  • Prior success marketing to and closing top level decision makers at small/medium sized businessesand cultivating mutually beneficial long term relationships.

  • Working knowledge of current Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite

(especially Excel), and any Contact Management Application (Salesforce).

  • Knowledge and familiarity with accounting and finance department operations.

  • Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach.

Our hotel is one block from TD Ameritrade Ballpark and joined to the CHI Health Event Center via an enclosed sky bridge. Take our complimentary shuttle to the airport and to sites in the downtown area. Our lobby shop offers snacks, sundries and Starbucks® coffees. What will I be doing? As a Marketing Manager, you would be responsible for proposing and implementing marketing strategies to promote revenue growth and generation in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: * Propose and implement hotel-specific marketing strategies to include, but not limited to maintaining and marketing websites, employing corporate brand marketing and leveraging social media * Monitor marketing trends, tools and applications specific to the hotel industry and target market(s) * Measure and report impact of marketing strategies * Work with Revenue Management to ensure maximum potential of key marketing strategies including, but not limited to, third party websites * Generate and deliver monthly marketing analyses and updates to Sales and Revenue Management What are we looking for?
